Allokate account
Delete your Allokate account.
You can delete your account and the data tied to it at any time, in the app or by email. This page covers both, and what is deleted or kept.
In the app
Delete it yourself in a minute.
Sign in to Allokate
Use the iPhone, Android or web app, signed in to the account you want to delete.
Open Settings
On the web, go to Settings, then Profile & account. In the iPhone and Android apps, open Settings and scroll to the bottom.
Tap Delete account
You can export your data first. Then confirm that this is permanent and type DELETE. Your account is closed right away, and your data is removed as described below.
Can't sign in?
Ask us to do it.
Email support@allokate.io from the email address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We reply within the time your local law requires, typically 30 to 45 days.
What happens to your data
What is deleted and what is kept.
Deleted or de-identified within 30 days
- Your profile and sign-in
- Transactions, budgets, categories and goals
- Household data you own, including bank connections
- Backups, which roll off within 30 days after that
Kept only where the law requires
- Billing and tax records for subscription payments
- Records we must keep to resolve a dispute or follow a legal request
Managing a household? If you own a shared household, deleting your account removes the shared budget for everyone on it. Export your data first if you want a copy.
Subscriptions
Cancel your subscription separately.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription billed by Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions, or in your Apple ID settings, so you are not charged again.
Just want less data stored?
Remove only some of it.
You don't have to delete your whole account. Inside the app you can delete individual transactions, goals and bills, and disconnect a bank connection at any time.
